Wisdom on Wednesdays is a 1.5 hour session ( run on a fortnightly basis) designed to continue the learning and practice for those people who have successfully completed the Mindful Life program (MLP) The sessions assume a level of practice and understanding which is based on the principles outline in the MLP.
If we want to live a meaningful life with attention and intention, developing the freedom to live consciously, we need to continue training the unruly mind and be able to make healthy choices that are beneficial to the life we want to live. Wisdom on Wednesdays will continue participant’s practice in the four key areas of mindfulness to make this transformation possible; concentration, value, wisdom and an open heart.
If you have completed the MLP, but would like to continue your meditation and mindfulness practices this program maybe beneficial for you. It will incorporate a variety of meditation practices, some small group discussion and the introduction of new concepts and practices.
The program will require you to continue your meditation and mindfulness practices and occasionally explore some useful and enlightening articles/film clips for discussion.
The session leader will usually be Mark Molony, but occasionally other leaders may guide a session while Mark is absent overseas. The sessions will be conducted in Mark’s rooms in Yarra St, Heidelberg. Group size will be restricted to seven participants.
